
Future, one of the biggest names in hip-hop music, was born on November 20, 1983. While his birth name is Nayvadius D. Wilburn, his stage name began while performing as one of the members of the musical collective The Dungeon Family, where he was nicknamed “The Future”. The rapper signed to his label Freebandz, A1 Recordings and Epic Records. His first album Pluto debuted in 2012, and later that year it was released as Pluto 3D. His next album, Honest, arrived in 2013.
Between late 2014 and early 2015, he released a trio of mixtapes to critical praise: Monster (2014), Beast Mode (2015), and 56 Nights (2015). In September 2015, Future released a collaborative mixtape with superstar rapper Drake, entitled What a Time to Be Alive. His most recent record, The Wizrd, has multiple tracks that hit the Billboard Hot 100. He is well known for dating R&B singer Ciara, though the couple split in 2014.
